Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, your digital literacy skills will empower you to create, share, and serve the new digital world.

The BTEC digital literacy program aims to destruct barriers and create opportunities for the women within the Arabic and Muslim Speaking community of Colorado. Mothers will be able to ride the digital wave of trends, understand the world of technology and join their children with digital learning and safe social media journey. The program will focus on three essential components of Digital literacy:

Digital Citizenship ­- the ability to use technology (online programs and sites, computers, and mobile devices) appropriately and responsibly

Technology Literacy ­-  the ability to select and use a variety of software, applications, mobile devices, and online tools and programs to produce digital products

Information Literacy - ­ the ability to find relevant information; the ability to evaluate information for reliability and validity; the ability to use information to draw conclusions or create a product
