Our mission
We believe whole-family health is the foundation of thriving communities. Every program we offer is a direct response to what our families tell us they need.
We are led by our community. Every program at BTEC is a community-initiated solution — born from listening, shaped by lived experience, and delivered by the people it serves. We don't provide services to our community; we build them with our community.
Our programs
Community-initiated solutions
Each program was born from a need our community voiced. All of them connect to the same goal: the health, confidence, and belonging of every family member.
Parenting
Incredible Years — Arabic & English
The first Arabic-language delivery in the U.S. Evidence-based parenting strategies for stronger family bonds and child wellbeing.
Youth
3rd Space — children & youth program
A culturally grounded space for ages 3–12, designed by youth voices and delivered by youth leaders. Identity, play, arts, and belonging.
Digital literacy
Whole Family Success
Technology skills that open doors to new careers, stronger family relationships, and confident decision-making in the digital home.
Community leadership
Our work is guided by the people it serves
Two advisory councils ensure every program reflects real community needs and real community voices.
Women's advisory council
Women leading the way
A circle of 8–12 Arabic-speaking immigrant women who identify health priorities, name community challenges, and co-design BTEC's programs from the inside out.
Youth advisory council
Youth shaping the future
High school students who bring the authentic voice of immigrant youth into our work — and step into real volunteer leadership roles that serve their own communities.
“We feel seen here. This is where we belong.”
